JTI Egypt participated in the implementation of the “Village Iftar” initiative in collaboration with Misr El Kheir Foundation on the 5th of March 2026, by organizing a volunteer day for its employees to help distribute Iftar meals to underprivileged families. The initiative aims to support the most vulnerable households and promote a culture of volunteerism among the company’s employees during the holy month of Ramadan.

This initiative comes as part of a series of community activities and programs carried out by JTI Egypt throughout the year as part of its strategy to strengthen corporate social responsibility and support development efforts aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals within the community. The initiative is part of the “Village Iftar” campaign implemented by Misr El Kheir Foundation during Ramadan, which aims to provide Iftar meals to underprivileged families and vulnerable groups across various governorates. In addition, approximately 400 food boxes containing essential food supplies will be distributed to beneficiaries, contributing to strengthening social solidarity and promoting values of compassion and support during the holy month.

A dedicated group of JTI Egypt employees volunteered to participate in preparing and distributing Iftar meals to eligible families, reflecting the company’s commitment to its social role and its dedication to supporting vulnerable communities during Ramadan. This participation also highlights the company’s efforts to foster a culture of volunteerism and encourage employees to contribute to community initiatives that create a positive impact within society.
